Is it right for me?
Cosmetic alignment works on the front teeth and is best for mild to moderate crowding, spacing or rotation. It doesn't correct how your back teeth bite together. If that's part of the problem, we'll say so and talk about full orthodontic treatment instead.
Your teeth and gums need to be healthy first, so we'll check them and treat any decay or gum problems before straightening starts.
Keeping teeth straight
All teeth tend to move back over time. After treatment you'll have a retainer, either a thin wire bonded behind the teeth or a clear removable one, and you'll need to keep wearing it.
NHS or private?
Cosmetic tooth alignment is private treatment. Your dentist will always explain the options and give you a written estimate before treatment starts. How NHS charges and private fees work.

Questions people ask
Will people notice I'm wearing them?
Clear aligners and tooth-coloured braces are much less noticeable than traditional metal braces, though close up people may spot them.
Can I combine straightening with other treatment?
Often, yes. Some people straighten first, then whiten or replace old front fillings so everything matches.
